Jamie is a fifteen year old girl, whose life is a mess. She lives on her own, and goes to school at night. Her mom sends her rent and food money every month in secret from her dad. At school she is bullied, and everyone calls her Freak Jamie, or Monster Jamie. The only good memory of her parents was 8 years ago at a park. One day, Jamie decides it's about time she visits it, and she makes an unearthly discovery, a vampire boy! But Jamie soon finds out, maybe he isn't as dangerous as he seems. When Jamie was younger, something happened that changed her life, it's the reason why she is bullied. It's a secret and ancient power that is passed down and it skips three generations. Jamie has inherited this power, but she doesn't know anything about it.
