Zia was running. From them. They would hurt her. Her parents, how could they? Not telling her like that, unforgivable. But their dead now, under a pile of burning wood and ash. She needed to get to Lilith and warn her. Tears were flooding her eyes, she fell on the rough dirt. She was slowly picked up, really carefully. It couldn't be the people after her, she jabbed her hands at her eyes and looked up to whom held her. It was Lilith! They were heading to an unknown location. But she was going to be safe now. She closed her eyes and fell into the darkness of rest.

She'd spent many years playing in this forest as a child. While Selene had enjoyed her novels in the warmth of the house, a blanket wrapped around her narrow shoulders, Sidra always came home covered in mud and scrapes from hours out in the wilderness. Nova disguise as a boy to enter the military school. If she is discovered as a girl, she will be kicked out. She is desperate to hide from trackers who have been following her for a dozen years. No one would think to look for her in an all-male military school. She hides among werewolves and is one of the very few nonshifters at the school. If he stumbles upon her true identity, she is screwed. "What are you doing?!" growls his highness, ripping the knife from my hands. It tingles as his fingers close around my wrist. Fresh blood flows from the wound, turning his hands red. Deep throaty sounds, rumbling in his chest. "You hurt yourself," he says softly, pain evident in his voice. I look up and frown. "It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha. I followed the voices a line of light shone the way as well I saw a coffin and curiosity got the best of me and I slid the lid of to reveal a boy he looked pretty cute but light shone bright and I felt different but my mind foggy as I leaned down something told me this would wake him up. When my lips touched his everything sparked and I pushed away when I felt him lean to me.Complete
