"A prophecy was foretold long ago, where death and destruction reigned. The land was ravaged and desolate...there were no survivors, but a wind of hope blew through the land as Genesis, God of Life, descended from the heavens and gave her gift of life to the world. However, while new life was given to the world, a new god was created as well. Adusk, God of Shadows, planned to ravage the land in an attempt to recreate the desolate land that Genesis revived, and would have nearly succeeded if not for Genesis herself. She sacrificed herself to defeat Adusk and shatter both their physical and spiritual forms and turn them into gems of raw energy. The ones who worshipped Adusk, more formally known as the Nightstalkers, kept his energy and those who praised Genesis, the Sunstriders, kept her. The prophecy foretells that two demigods will be born from the gods' energies. The two are destined to fight for the fate of the world. However, destiny can indeed change."

1st Place in the Percy Jackson Wattys 2018 * '"So it's settled then." Zeus said, "In order to solidify our truce with Nyx Apollo will marry Nyx's demigod daughter Ariadne."' * Ariadne lived in hell. Not the figurative type of hell-she really lived in hell. She was born and raised in Tartarus, the home of monsters, by her godly mother Nyx. She never knew anything about her father other than the fact that he was a son of Athena, and he was dead. Ariadne always dreamed of the world. She had lived her life in darkness, never seeing the light of day. That is until she turned sixteen, and her mother made a deal with the Olympians. Nyx would side with them against Kronos if Ariadne married Apollo. Unable to see her mother's real motives behind the deal, Ariadne jumps at the chance to leave hell, and get away from her mother. But Olympus is in the middle of a war, and Ariadne had never been one to sit out of a fight. If the war wasn't enough, Ariadne finds herself falling in love with the last person she ever expected to fall for. She fell head over heels for Apollo. * Disclaimer: This story is based around the Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo books. All rights go to Rick Riordan. All characters from the original Rick Riordan books belong to Rick Riordan. Characters such as Ariadne belong to me. To a loner named Sun, life's been hard ever since her mother left her because of a power she didn't understand. On her own for just about three moons, she thinks she's hardened and strong enough to take on any cat who comes at her. Oh, how was she wrong. Soon, she runs into the four Clans: CloudClan, HollyClan, BreezeClan, and FlowerClan. She joins CloudClan, determined to start over and make a new life for herself. She doesn't need her mother. She doesn't need anyone but her new family, her Clanmates. On the night of her official welcoming into the Clan, something changes her mind: a prophecy, from the ancestors of her Clanmates. The prophecy states that the "apple will rise." The daughter of the leader, Applefoot, was never friendly with her. Suddenly, a plot seems to be uncovering itself right in front of Sunpaw's eyes. And with her power, she's the perfect candidate to rise to the top and save everyone. But something is stopping her. Something is tainting her soul, persuading her to use her powers for evil, and not good. Unless she can break free of what's binding her, she won't be able to use her powers for good. All she'll be able to do is cause pain, more pain, and even more pain. But it's not so easy, especially when she's got herself tangled in the ropes of the darkness. Suddenly, she realizes that she's no better than Applefoot. Paired with slowly falling hopelessly in love with a cat who never is clear with her, breaking free of her dark insides is seeming harder and harder. If she can't do it, then she'll never be able to see the face of good again. She'll be another apprentice gone wrong, and all she'll be remembered for is darkness. Sunpaw can't let that happen. But unless she figures out how to cut herself free from the darkness, then it will happen. And there will be nothing she can do it about it.

Okay, so I'd just like to say that this is not well written whatsoever lol. All the grammar is correct, and there's some decent description, but it all feels very rushed if I'm honest. I tried to cram too many ideas in and yeah, it made.. whatever this is. Uh, I have some one-shots on my profile which might be better to read?... If you don't mind a fic being rushed this is probably great for you, lol, but the plot line is very higgledy piggeldy. Um, enjoy? Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. (This is future me in brackets, btw, it did not turn out well lmao). In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. The ships are: Pipabeth - Piper + Annabeth Chrisse - Clarisse + Chris Solangelo - Nico + Will Valgrace (platonic) - Jason + Leo because I despise Caleo sorry lmao Perpollo - Percy + Apollo I do not own any of these characters, all rights are to Rick Riordan other than the storyline/plot. YAYAY HIGH RANKINGS THAT IM PROUD OF: 5th in pjofandom as of 19th October 2024, out of 3.71 or something thousand stories (how tf) 80th in heroesofolympus as of 9th February 2025, out of FUCKING 16.9K WHAT THE HEL-

She had pushed herself past her breaking point, and still continued on as if nothing was wrong. The demigod knew if she allowed herself time to take even a moment, her soul would physically crack in two. Now was not the time for weakness, if anything, she had to be stronger. She knew the other girls would mumble about her, but Icaria wouldn't listen to them. She refused to watch someone she loved fall at the hands of Thanatos again. If need be, she would offer herself to him in place. Yet, there was someone who noticed the young girl breaking apart. She could see the bags grow darker, and watched as Icaria began to eat less and less. It was the same someone who had saved Icaria all those years ago. And the goddess refused to watch that someone suffer any longer. The goddess, Artemis, stepped out of her tent in the early morning light. All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.

Fated Shadows

5 parts Ongoing

Sequels to fated hearts The wind whispered through the ancient trees, carrying with it the echoes of a time long past. Deep within the heart of the forest, where no light penetrated and the shadows danced with a life of their own, a new prophecy was born. This prophecy, like the one before it, spoke of a pair of souls destined to change the course of history. But this time, the stakes were higher, the darkness deeper, and the fate of not just a village, but the entire world, hung in the balance. As the prophecy unfurled, a figure moved silently through the shadows, unseen and unknown. This figure had been watching, waiting, and now, with the emergence of a new threat, it was time to act. The battle for love and destiny was far from over, and the forces that had once been defeated were stirring again, more powerful and dangerous than before. The figure paused at the edge of a clearing, where the moonlight barely touched the ground, casting long, eerie shadows. The figure's eyes glowed with an unnatural light, a hint of the power that lay dormant within. This time, it would not be so easy to break the chains of fate. This time, love alone might not be enough. As the figure vanished into the night, a sense of foreboding settled over the forest. The world was on the brink of a new era, one where light and dark would clash once more, and only the strongest, most determined hearts would survive.
