Dru was never happy, never safe, never free. Since the day she met Shaun she was trapped. Trapped in a love she never truly wanted, but she tried, she tried to make it work. Things never went well, there was never a time when she thought things would change. Except when a baby started to grow inside of her, she hoped telling Shaun would change things, she hoped that this baby would make them happy for once, if only she knew what would happen, how the only hope she ever had got taken and ripped into pieces, if only she got out of that house instead, maybe then things would have changed for the better. Maybe then she would still have the hope that baby once gave her.
