Shyenne Rhineheart is a seventeen-year-old girl who lives by herself, as her parents are in perpetual states of traveling. Because of this, she is very lonely and very desperate to not seem lonely.
Shyenne works at a fast food joint, where she meets Alyssa Roan: a twenty-two year old woman who is struggling to keep a place to live in due to insufficient funds and not enough hours. They both have their own demons to face. They both have the tendency to shoulder their own pain and push away any possible help.
That is, until Shyenne's depression follows her to work and things take a turn...
