THIS IS A COMPLETED NOVEL.

Felicia is a quiet, studious girl who happens to be a great beauty renowned for her seclusion. Too bad the portraits her father paints brush away the flaws on her true face.
Through her adolescence in the court of Merkh, Felicia has only concentrated on her schooling. As she gets older, her father wants to push boundaries in his work, and the portraits only get more risque. This makes it even harder to fit into the background, already hard enough with a hormonal prince as one of her only friends, putting tension between her and her fianc This drama all changes in the summer before her eighteenth birthday when her country is invaded by a vicious army, led by a young and unhinged general that is somehow familiar. Her structured life falls apart as her father can't find any business and her fiancbrings home a vulgar little street rat of a sorcerer he befriends who is determined to drive them apart for his attention. Her father's legacy becomes clear when a foreign prince demands her hand to keep the peace. His obsession with her portrait may be her undoing, for the face in the painting is not really hers.

Letters to God

4 parts Ongoing Mature

After her mother's passing, a young girl starts writing letters to God, pouring her pain, questions, and hopes into each one. The letters become her refuge, her only source of peace. When she enters university, she meets a charming and seemingly religious young man who shows interest in her. At first, their connection feels like a blessing-he shares her values, seems deeply committed to his faith, and even talks about marriage early on. But as they grow closer, subtle red flags begin to emerge. He becomes controlling, insisting on how she should practice her faith, who she can be friends with, and what kind of hijab she should wear. His jealousy and manipulation are masked by "religious concern," leaving her confused and questioning her own actions. As their relationship deepens, she finds herself straying further from the peace she once found in her letters to God. Torn between her feelings for him and the growing toxicity, she writes more desperately to Allah, seeking clarity. It's only when she realizes that love shouldn't suffocate her faith but nurture it that she gathers the strength to walk away. ------- When love begins to dim her light, how can she find the courage to reclaim her faith and herself?
