Letter Writers Series: Book 1 Dear Luke, Do you know how annoying friends can be? I Suppose you must, considering you live with your three best friends. Anyway, I don't want to do this, but my friends are making me. I don't want to bother you with my personal life, and honestly, the only reason I'm doing this is because I doubt you'll ever actually read these. Lyra's lucky number is two. Why? She has two parents. Neither care for her. She has two friends. They're the reason she doesn't cut. In the last two months things between Lyra and her parents have gone from bad to worse. It only took her friends two days to realize this. And it only took two weeks for them to come up with the Letter Project: She would draw two names out of the bag and choose one. Lyra will write two letters and after that she will have two weeks to decide whether she will continue to write the letters or not.
