Ever since they were little, Laxus and Mirajane hated each other. They were constantly fighting, always at each other's throats. To Laxus, Mirajane was nothing but an egotistical, mean, and snarky little brat. Their fighting finally reached its limit, causing Laxus to be kicked out of the guild. So did this time apart spark something between them that had been left unsaid?

Finally years later, they reunite. Laxus was still insistent that he hated her, finding her devotion to his grandfather annoying and her constant prodding obnoxious. But the reality was that he missed her, and she missed him too. Even if they were always fighting, it didn't matter because they were in each other's company.
