In the futuristic world, scientists are desperate for knowledge about the past century. On New Years eve, teenagers are sent back in time to a year they are researching for the next 365 days. There are strict instructions and rules each traveler must follow. It could mean life or death. Andrew (Drew) Levenson is the idolized son of the man behind this project. When he ends up in 2012 with nothing but a note with instructions in his back pocket, he has no clue what's in store for him. Karmen Keats is your average 16 year old. She knows nothing more than what the 21st century has presented to her, nor is she interested. When Drew and Karmen's lives get twisted together, neither party might be able to untwist themselves and carry on. Which means unimaginable trouble for Drew. But everything could turn out fine, right? Just don't break a rule.
