Dear Reader,
I wish to tell you a tale that began with a promise destined to change the lives of many.
When only a child, Lady Adele of Berron lost her family during a dreadful battle and was betrothed to a stranger.
Lord Rafe of Valrek, only a boy himself when the battle of Calis raged, grew to be a feared warrior and trusted advisor to his King. But sadness filled his past and Adele served only to remind him of all he had lost.
However the promise that bound these two together caused great anger to some.
What, Dear Reader, happened in those days of treachery and darkness? Incline your ear that I may whisper the secrets that you so desire to hear......

Just when she's decided to leave the Town, Lady Cressida Belverst is forced to marry Lord Calan Haverston, the man who coincidentally knows a way out. Agreeing to marry for all the wrong reasons, can Cressida and Calan find out where their hearts truly belong? *** It is impossible to leave the Town, but one woman is determined to escape with the help of her betrothed. Lady Cressida Belverst has always been judged as a walking scandal. Oh, how she tries (on some rare occasions) to be proper! When her parents arrange for her to marry a rich lord, Cressida has had enough. She has to leave the Town because she will not be forced to live with a man she doesn't love. But what happens if the very man she's betrothed to is the only one who can help her get out? Calan Haverston, the Lord of Easton, takes the risk and helps his betrothed by using his knowledge of the Town's secrets because he is as willing as she to stay free of marriage for reasons completely different. He has dark secrets he cannot share with her, and his life is not one he can likewise open to anyone. But what happens when she leaves after awakening desires he thought he has under control? And what happens when he finds himself longing for her? Cressida goes to a completely different place, one she has only heard in stories and read in books, with hopes of finding what her heart has always longed for. But love, mystery and secrets will chase her and it will only be a matter of time before she realizes what her heart truly desires. *This story is a standalone title in the Haverston Family series.

Greyenvir Institute is a perfect place to go when one wants to run, one wants to think and one wants to look for themselves. Caldor Clint is one of the most powerful and intelligent warriors in the state. Yet... broken, bitter, and sad... all these made him arrogant and unbearable to be around. When his best friend, Janine offers him a proposition to teach new trainees in Greyenvir, he takes it, hoping he could escape his emptiness after his loss. Arabella Heydar is the last one in her Order after the massacre, and after the loss of her father - the only person she had left. Going to Greyenvir would provide her with the skills and tactics to protect herself - the last one in her Order - when she's out in the dangerous world where valpreiz would appear at any time to finish what they started in her Order and other extinct Orders, so she does only that. To ensure her safety. Ensuring her safety also meant keeping her Order discreet and no one liked that at all. But when trainees in the Institute start dying, who better to blame but a girl with an unknown Order. Arabella realizes she's been having blackouts she isn't able to recall. It's up to her to figure out if she's really the one killing the trainees. Worse enough, Caldor and everyone else have a close eye on her mysterious self. *** This is the first book of the Orders In Greyenvir series ***
