Misfits of Light (a ROTG Fanfic)

Darkness and chaos had once been the birth of everything; from it sprung forth, the Moon,
A great, wise creature with its radiance shining amidst the dreadful clouds, protecting the people from harm.
The evil reign ended as soon as the world was entangled in brightness each faithful night, when the sun's touch was never evident,
But persistent was he, who holds the fear of the world.
And so, did the protector choose his faithful Guardians, to watch over those who are meek and of youth;
A purpose embodied in each magical creature, with centers so pure.
And now he comes back, seeking revenge as he lays down his pawns;
With his piercing glare and wicked shade,
He had once sought vengeance and so will he again.
And thus, the familiar beam struck the tier of the earth, within the stone from where it all started,
Reuniting the five, who will soon face a greater danger.
Chosen by the moon; An apprentice given to each.
Will they be able to fix everything before the world crumbles?
