Mankind has gazed about the stars for thousands of years and the still unanswered question "Are we alone?" still rings among us. Earth's first interstellar starship "The NSA Impala" and it's dedicated crew and captain set out on its maiden voyage to find that answer, but what they find is even more disturbing than the answer itself.

When naive alien brothers, Rik and Ren decide to leave their comfortable safe life and set out on their own as Freelancers they find that their first adventure takes them into a situation they aren't quite used too and find that they have to learn to adapt quickly and that the world isn't as safe as they thought it was! or that it would be as easy as they thought it would be and have to learn to rely on themselves and the crew of their small ship and basically come of age. The story I admit is strongly inspired by both Star Wars and Firefly but it is not taken in either of those universes although it could easily fit in both of them. And thanks to CANVA for providing the cover. Rik and Ren are original characters, the art inside the book is my own. And I thank anyone who reads, comments, and even votes on this! "Are we alone?" That question has finally been answered, but the answer was much more than they expected. Testing a new form of interstellar travel called a Stardrive, the NSA Impala was sent to explore Pre-alpha, a new solar system discovered along the sight line of Alpha Centauri. A slight malfunction sent them just outside the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy into dead space. Returning home, they ran into an alien race known as the Velcronians. What started off as a comical first contact, ended up with the Impala being snatched into the Farside Galaxy. Now stuck in the middle of a galactic war on the verge of spilling into the entire universe, the Impala must find a way to stop it and make it back home....before they no longer have a home to go back to. I'm an artist with words, not book covers... Android Captain Lancieta Steegle, and an engineer from Earth named Mannie end up relying on each other for more than survival when a war is thrust onto the people of Earth. In a desperate attempt to deal some kind of blow to the Halgred, the Andromedian collective okayed a Shadow Operation to attack the Halgred Homeworld. The weapon was illegal, a bio-weapon designed to sterilize and weaken their almost otherworldly physiology. When this weapon is instead redirected to Earth by the Halgred King, Draconisis, those whom survive undergo a change. As they wake up, the people of Earth are greeted by horror of their new animalistic physiology, and for some, unimaginable abilities. The 20 or so surviving Androids of the once thousands-strong crew of the Dreadnought-Class battleship do their best to make amends and help the humans of Earth adjust to their new Bestial Planet and the even more dangerous intergalactic community. This story is "Complete" as in the last chapter was written and it's gone through about 3 re-writes and 4 rounds of editing since. Very few stories are ever finished, as we know, because there's always something we think can be or should be changed. However, I've learned that the best I can do is get it to the point where I feel comfortable with someone else reading it. Otherwise I'd never have posted anything anywhere.

This story follows the young prodigy Grant Alan, a scholar turned telekinetic, surviving in a strange new world after the colossal science vessel, the Halfpace, passes into a future very foreign to him, populated by anthropomorphic creatures that have dominated humanity after a planet-wide war. To ultimately find out what happened to the last vestiges of humanity, Grant must use his wits, friendships and newfound power to navigate this new and dangerous world while an ancient, malevolent force slowly corrupts its new anthro leaders. I wrote this because I was partly inspired by "A Man In A Beast's World" by @GhillieCamo. Admittedly, my head was kind of in two places when writing this. Part of me wanted to create this really thoughtful, slow-burning, thriller sci-fi story experience with lots of lore and things to mull over, and the other half wanted to make a human x anthro romance story, dripping with provocative scenes, dialogue and drama. I'd say the story has both, but more of the former, which I think is ultimately better than if it was the other way around. I don't claim to be the best, or even good, at storytelling, and there are definitely a couple issues I have in my story, but people have been telling me they really like this story.
