Shortly after Thrall returns from the alternate Draenor, where he killed Garrosh Hellscream, he confronts Chromie, a timewalking bronze dragon in her gnome form, with questions which have lingered his mind ever since Theramore was destroyed: What if? What if he helped Jaina? What if he chose her as his life-mate? Would it all be different?
Chromie shows Thrall a possible alternate timeline, set between the events of The Frozen Throne and Warlords of Draenor, and surprises him how little differences in the past could have changed Azeroth forever.
