Protection

When a strange chemical was spilled into the Mississippi river, nobody knew what would happen. The incident was kept under wraps; that was, until the first Protector appeared. Protectors were teens who had been affected by the chemical in strange ways. It granted them abilities beyond those of a normal human. Panicked, the government ordered the military to peacefully find and collect all of these teenagers without tipping anyone off, but once collected, they were unsure of what to do them. To solve this problem, they created a program: Protection. They were assigned to use their powers to protect individuals targeted by an enemy organization attempting to overtake America. But how can a few teenagers single-handedly prevent what could turn into the next World War...?
