A fifteen year old girl in the early 1900s plans to leave her dreadful home and set a quest to find the magic everybody once had but somehow lost. she's not alone, she has her newfoundlander dog George and her cat Lucy. she uses a broken pocket watch to find her way given to her by her father. she meets talking animals and animals she never knew excited. On her adventure she commits a terrible crime, what she did might be terrible but she hopes the magic will get rid of the horrible feeling. she once again sets the quest onto her journey and hopes to find the magic, if she does who knows unless you begin chapter one.

Your parents owned this old fashioned city. It was a village the size of a city and it had some modern technology mixed with no technology. You had no friends for for so long and people always bullied you probably because they were scared of you. They didn't know of the magical side of the land. They didn't know that some people can see it. They would only see the creatures if they made themselves seeable. Everything was normal one day, people treating you like trash and you running crying to your mom. But your parents had gotten you something that they know nothing about or take care of but they put the responsibility in your 10 year old hands.Complete

And even though there's and unlock button, it only lets others in- it doesn't let me out. So I couldn't be with anyone going out, but if I let someone in..." he pauses, and smiles. "And then I saw you on the screen the first day I searched. I don't think it was a coincidence that I searched at random and found you. I think it was fate, Claire." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When Claire follows a dangerous dare to break into the 'abandoned lighthouse', she finds that it's not so abandoned, after all. It turns out that the owner, teenage Francis, is trapped in the lighthouse by a strong magic, and though he has everything he could ever want, he's lonely. Claire, now trapped inside, as well, starts to develop feelings for the lighthouse keeper... PLEASE NOTE: I wrote this story when I was twelve, and it hasn't been edited.
