Deus Ex Machina

The word of God is law. At least that's what Father Rey's congregation believes. And by that law, everything Father Rey speaks must be true as he is God's vessel, right? Everything is not what it seems in Father Rey's New England community. Like he says, "It's a red herring". But what exactly is fact? Can a mere human even distinguish between holy judgement and selfish desires? What is true if we can only see what we want to see?
