Isabella's life has been anything but easy. At 14, she's already endured more than most. Her mother and her mother's boyfriend, Jack, were both controlling and abusive, leaving Isa to navigate the scars of their manipulation. Her mother always told her that her father abandoned them, and she never mentioned anything about brothers. Isa has lived believing she was truly alone. But everything changes when her mother and Jack are arrested, leaving her without a guardian. With nowhere else to turn, Isabella is sent across the country from Chicago to Los Angeles to live with nine brothers she never knew existed. Struggling with the trauma of her past and the lies she's been fed, Isa finds herself thrust into a new life with strangers she's supposed to call family. What she doesn't know is that these brothers are far from ordinary. They are not just successful men-they are the leaders of a powerful mafia empire, operating in the shadows of the city. Every brother has secrets of their one, as they have a hard time trusting anyone out of the family.
