For as long as he could remember, Mimic was totally normal. Well, aside from the name that he thought was very strange. But one day, that all changed forever.

Years had pasted and Mimic lived in the same place; an old town in Pennsylvania called Hereford with a population just barely over 900 people. No one would have expected anything abnormal to happen at all.

Suddenly, as if hit by a plague, everyone started dying. They died so quickly and there was no time for a cure. If you breathe, you die. For some reason that no one understood, some people were immune to this illness.

Mimic was one of the "lucky" people.

One of the people who could live on.

Survivors were taken to labs and facilities far from their homes where they were experimented on for days. Later the scientists found that a strange thing happened when you inflict enough pain on the patients.

(There is some boyxboy so if you don't like it, this book isn't for you X3)
