slapshot is the story of how a championship high school hockey team falls straight to the bottom after opening their team up to girls. captain jonathan merritt is fine with the idea, but not when he sees a certain girl join the team who's never played hockey in her life. can the team pull through and become the great team they once were, especially with the disadvantage of these new players? or will they fall short, just one slapshot away? original work by @bittersvveet on wattpad all rights reserved, 2016-2017

Grace Williams has one rule: keep hockey players at arm's length. They're cocky. They're reckless. And worst of all, they know it. As a sophomore business major, Grace has better things to do than babysit a roster of over-confident athletes. But when she lands the role of running her college's hockey team's social media, avoiding them isn't an option. Her job depends on perfect captions, flawless photos, and making the team look good on and off the ice. Enter Mason Watson-sophomore, star forward, and infuriatingly charismatic. He's everything Grace swore off: smug, athletic, and far too good-looking for his own good. Worse, he seems determined to test her patience every time their paths cross. But when Mason's performance on the ice starts drawing attention from scouts, Grace is the one stuck shadowing him for exclusive content. The closer they're forced to work, the blurrier the lines get between staged photos and something real.
