"You messed with the wrong girl." Aurora Williams has a point to prove. The point? If Damon King ever made a mistake in his oh, so perfect life...it'd be making a fool out of her. Determined to move past her crappy middle school experience, Aurora transformed from 'Geek to Chic' once she got to High School. With everyone having forgotten her middle school reputation, she had become one of the most popular and accepted students at Westmont High. Everything was good. At least, until Damon King, the one boy who had ruined her middle school career is transferred to Westmont during her Junior year and she unwittingly insults him. One rude comment is taken as a declaration of war and the two teenagers find themselves deadlocked in a battle of the wits, complete with pranks, bad mouthing, and sabotaging. Damon has already ruined Aurora's public image before. Not only is she determined to stop history from repeating itself- She has her eyes set on revenge.

"Marek, don't do this. Keep your captainship. I'll tell the truth about what happened and we'll both be out of the deal." "But-" "I don't know what your doing, if you think this is going to win you attention or sympathy. Or maybe you are being a noble prat and doing as 'you should'. Plus, I don't mean anything to you. Never have, never will. So please, please, stop acting like I'm special. " "But you are." And then his voice cracked, and I cracked with it. ------------------------ She's sick of his arrogant ways, and the bragging. With her goal being to slap some sense into him, she makes a deal; they act like a couple in every sense of the word and the first one to fall in love? Loses. It's only when she realises he may not be such a terrible man after all that she doubts her ability to win. But what if the one thing she put on the line is the one thing she would die trying to protect? Will she allow a relationship to blossom under pressure from her past? **Disclaimer** The drawing in the cover isn't mine (but it was so pretty I used it anyway). If you know who it belongs to, tell me and I can give them the rightful credit. **Implication of sex and some minor bad language. Do not read unless mature enough.**
