Birds of a feather flock together... right? Wrong. Avari James is a freak. She doesn't socialize, and she would rather draw in her room than leave the house. Her parents don't want anything to do with her, so you can imagine her surprise when they offer a trip to the beautiful country of Brazil. Forced to go, Avari doesn't realize until she lands, that it was a one way flight... to the middle of nowhere. Now stranded in the dangerous wilderness of South America, she must rely on a handsome, native, man to lead her back to civilization. Little did she know the journey would lead to something completely opposite of civilization. A hidden culture, a growing love, and danger lurking on every horizon it is a race to escape those who want to use her gift for evil. Those who truly want to make her a freak. But now with the help of her new friends, they might have a chance... Maybe. After all Birds of a feather stick together.
