"The Family of Thieves" (Short Story)

Okay, this is a short story. Quick and simple. This story takes place back in the 1800's, in New York City where a family of thieves living among people who steal from them everyday without anyone noticing. These people were called many things, crooks, bandits, but particularly, "The Family of Thieves."
