Skye is an innocent minded girl after being on the run for so long so when she gets a new home she takes a liking to Steve after all he rescued her. Steve takes a liking to her as well. Seeing she's so innocent and beautiful and she smiles at him whenever he talks. And she looks at him like he's her whole world. Bucky Barnes starts to take an interest in Skye from afar. He's terrified of his feelings and to talk to this girl. She makes him feel different and he doesn't know if he likes that. He still can't forgive himself for what he's done during his Winter Solider days. He sees Steve with her and realizes he might be too late and that she might not ever get to be his. He thinks he deserves to be loved too.

A normal person would fall in love after they were twenty to someone of the opposite gender. Marriages were considered a hassle, so you would not have a ceremony, just decide if you wanted to be married or not. Once married, there was no divorcing. For if you were not normal, you'd be coded. Normals wear white, Differents wear black.
