When the water swallows the coasts and the shaking earth rips humanity apart and plaques sweep through the populated cities with a sun that burns the natural environment to ashes, running is hopeless. But yet, people still try to run.
Lucy has to face mother nature and her cruel plans for humanity when her life was ripped away from her. Alone and scared, she flees for the northen regions of Canada, the only country with a functioning goverment. An unexpected event leads her to Janson and now, maybe with his help, she might just have a chance at survival.
But a person must never be too soon to judge Mother Nature. A series of events forces them to flee from the safety of Janson's house. But in the process they might just find hope. They might just find a new home and they might just find... love.
