If you're going to be reading this, I warn you not to expect one of those cheesy romance novels about the school bad boy hooking up with an unrealistically hot girl and they make out and stuff. This is real, and this is our lives. Now, of course, life includes love, but if we're being realistic odds are a guy isn't going to share one glance with a girl and decide he loves her. When there is sorcery and mostly evil triplets and curses and insanity involved, love is never normal. Life is more than that, and trust me, our lives are part of the world you never expected.

"Therapy isn't going to help me, nothing will." Nate looked up at her in confusion. "Me- the way I am- all of it... it's all a consequence, eventually it will kill someone, and that's the only way to end it." Emily felt her eyes fill with tears.
"How-?"
"At Sarah's dad's funeral, her mom committed suicide- and Sarah was just so sad and I..." Emily's voice started to break.
"What did you do?" Nate sat next to her and grabbed her hand.
"I brought her back, from the dead- which means I'll be this way. Until I kill someone else that I care about," she paused. "My guess is that eventually the balance will just consume me." She chuckled. "As I grow, it gets stronger, so don't get attached to me," she tried to joke, and then walked off but Nate grabbed both of her hands and pulled her close.
"Kill me."
