After moving to San Francisco, things are very different for Violet. Growing up in another place her whole life and suddenly moving into a different city messed around with what she was used to. With her parents always disagreeing and fighting, Violet feels trapped. She doesn't have anyone to turn to, she feels all alone. No one understands what's going on and all she wants is to feel like someone cares. Her neighbor is really nice, but is the comfort of this teenage boy enough?
