These Stories Of Ours
In this planet, there are over 7 billion people living. All with different names and backgrounds. No one can tell the future but one can tell of the past. It's not always happy, but we try to move on. We all have stories to tell and someday these stories will be passed on. Will they like our stories, be inspired by it, hate it, relate to it? It will all depend on who they are, I guess.Kumpleto
Through the Wormhole
|SERIALIZED STORY · ACTS I AND II · WATTPAD CREATORS PROGRAM| |22X FEATURED| Daniel Matton wasn't ready for an adventure, not until 3025 sent him into space on a journey to prehistoric times. The prehistoric animals test his patience, but Dan must endure all the pain and suffering to return home safely. *** Seventeen-year-old Daniel Matton, still grieving after his mother's death five years ago, is given the adventure of a lifetime when he's selected as the Star of 3025's PPMC Project for a journey through a black hole, wormhole, and white hole to prehistoric times. Now, does Dan want to be the Star? Heck no, but he has loved paleontology ever since a bittersweet memory with his mom twelve years earlier. Programmed to resemble Dan's mother's personality, PPMC vows to keep him safe on his journey, but it's difficult when the stubborn teen constantly gets in trouble, not just with himself but also with prehistoric anomalies: volcanic eruptions, eight-foot-long millipedes, terrifying saber-toothed cats, and, above all, disaster. Now nearly trapped in time, Dan and PPMC must work together to escape the geologic time scale before Dan's love for paleontology and the mighty Quetzalcoatlus prevent him from learning how to truly trust PPMC and "let go" of the burden that's weighed him down for five years. A teen, a starship, and Becca... Conquer the Wasteland
*Prologue* To be entirely honest with you, I never really considered my future. It's not like I needed to...right? Why would you care about jobs and your educational success when you could be scavenging for food, perhaps? I mean what use is your academic future in the apocalypse? Dramatic right? As I sit here, writing this down, I feel a little pathetic. Although the chance that someone would read my story is incredibly low, I can't help but feel a small glimmer of hope that someone will find it. It would become an instant best-seller! Who wouldn't read the first-hand account of a zombie apocalypse survivor? Even if that day were to arrive, I can guarantee that I won't be alive to see it. The world is a complete and total mess and we are the only ones to blame. Why do you ask? Well, why don't we take a trip down memory lane? First, people alone destroyed the earth with pollution, making it the ultimate playground for the undead. Second, we created the virus that single-handedly destroyed 97% of the human population. Wonderful, is it not?Kumpleto
Jurassic World: True Fear (Male Reader Insert)
After the dinosaurs made it to the mainland, followed by the infestation of giant locusts, most of the world governments put a ban on any genetic engineering; however, some countries chose to make exceptions. The organization known as the Rewilding of Extinct New Zealand got permission from the namesake country to use genetic engineering to bring back species whose extinction were caused by humans, but only under the condition that experts in these fields be present to make sure everything goes well. This is where paleontologist, (Y/N) (L/N), comes in. As one of the provided expert, he heads off on a plane bound for New Zealand; unfortunately, nature has other plans, and forces him and other passengers to crash and survive on a supposedly uninhibited island filled with prehistoric creatures. This story takes place between Dominion and Rebirth. WARNING: This story will not hold back on violence and may be too graphic for younger readers. All art belongs to their rightful owners. The Grant Files: Stranded on Isla Sorna
First and foremost, this is a fanfictional reimagining of Jurassic Park 3. If you are not a fan of reimaginings, this is not the story for you. This is not an original story. It may be an original creative spin on a pre-existing story, but it is not 100% original. Please do not bring negativity here. If you do not like it, then do not read it. Ignore it. Secondly, this reimagining includes a character with alien and predator origin elements, and thus, there are AvP elements implemented into this reimagining. There is a dropship as well as Yautja technology, medicine, and a shadowed appearance of an original Yautja character I created. The time period may be in the nineteen hundreds for this reimagining, 1996 to be exact, but the AvP character has access to technology, medicine, and all other things, far beyond the nineteen hundreds. Lastly, this reimagining is part of a larger fanfictional reimagining of many sci-fi horror thriller franchises. It's mainly linked with my AvP universe I put together as the AvP character in this story is the main character of those stories. She may only be seventeen years old in this story, but she has technically lived longer than that and done a great many things before getting stranded on Isla Sorna with my main Jurassic oc. Written by Sasha Wolfe of Angelic Knighthood Productions | Based upon the Jurassic Park 3 Screenplay by Peter Buchman, Alexander Payne, and Jim Taylor | Based upon the cinematic universe created by Steven Spielberg | Based upon characters created by Michael CrichtonKumpleto
We Eukaryotes
About 1.5 billion years ago, the single-celled eukaryotes became the common ancestors of all multicellular plants, animals, and fungi. Fish evolved a primitive lung sac and four limbs, 350 million years ago, so they could crawl between fresh water swamps. About 250 million years ago, the ancestors of all mammals, were tiny nocturnal insectivores and, about 6 million years ago, we began walking on two legs. The most recent Ice Age (2.6 million to 12,000 years ago), severely reduced rainfall in Africa, where Homo habilis was evolving. In Homo erectus (1.9 to 0.5 million years ago), cranial capacity increased to between 850 and 1000 cm3 implying the phenomenal increase of 125,000 more neurons with each generation. Between 70 and 50 thousand years ago, Homo sapiens spread out from east Africa. Then, about 20,000 years ago, evolution made a sharp change in direction. After 250 million years, we ceased to be hunter gatherers. The Neolithic Revolution meant we could never go back. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. The discovery of agriculture made us richer but we also learned how to destroy wealth. Great civilization grew up but then disappeared leaving only incredible ruins and ideas. Later books detail some of the ideas and developments that increased the average life span from about 40 years to more than 80 and the average world income from less than $3 to more than $33 per person per day (and to $140 per day in some countries).Kumpleto
SACRED ECHO
Have you ever wondered what love really is? Is it the kind of love we see in stories, or is it something deeper, something that pulls you in without warning?
