Lucy and Natsu have never showed their "true" feeling towards one another. You see, they're stuck in this awkward position that isn't quite comfortable but it is at the same time.

When Lucy leaves the guild in hopes to get stronger for her guild, she doesn't return. Natsu grows worried and goes out looking for her, does he find something else along the way? Maybe an emotion he had been hiding from himself all these years?
