When you meet your soulmate your hair goes from grey to the colour of their eyes. Somewhere on your body your soulmates initials will show. 

Louis wakes up with a hangover after a one night stand and can't remember the night before. All he knows is Niall dragged him to a university party. The boy he wakes up next to has his head buried under the pillow so he can't even see who it is. 

He gets dressed quickly and has to sneak out of a house he doesn't recognise. When he gets home he swears and punches the wall. His hair is green and on his hip are the letters HS.

@zpanacea gave me the suggestion to write a soulmate fic where Harry's and Louis's souls switch and they wake up in each other's bodies. Until you find your soulmate the world is in black and white until you meet your soulmate. When you turn 18 a tattoo of your soulmate's first word to you appears on your arm. If you're older than your soulmate you stay 18 until he/she/they catch up. When Harry wakes up on his 13th birthday he notices two things. 1. The room is in color. 2. The face staring back at him in the mirror isn't his own. Purely fictional.
