Words that Samayo, has lived by, for three years as a Ronin.  Since that fateful night three years ago, Samayo has understood those words.  But now, as he's given a new mission, he will understand those words even more, and that he has still has much to learn about overcoming grief.

And surprisingly, these lessons will come from his charge, a girl whom he must protect and escort to Okinawa.  A girl that not only he will learn from, but maybe pass onto her something more.
