The prince has come of age and so Princess Effie is thrown from her life in the peaceful kingdom of Naribithia in to a grand competition she does not wish to compete in. She disagrees with the king's traditions and to disagree could be deadly. So she must fight against the other princesses to show she is worthy of her life and the prince's affections. But Effie believes independence and happiness and love. So she must decide to fight for her life or to fight for what she believes in. Is it possible to fight for both? What will be her fate?

In a battle of wills the characters must risk their lives to save all seven regions or die trying.
