Ethereal (Re-Writing)

Annabelle Kahlan is sixteen years old when she realizes her life has taken a turn for the strange. After moving with her parents and two younger sisters to New York City, strange coincidence after strange coincidence follow her wherever she goes. She realizes quickly that there might be more to the story when her parents disappear and in the same day, their apartment burns to the ground. The more she learns about her past, the more she is forced out of her comfortable, ordinary life and into completely uncharted territory.

Uprooted once more just a year after the incident and with nothing to lean on but herself and possibly the handsome but darkly mysterious Callum and strange new friends she meets along the way, Anna must find a way to hold on to who she is, uncover her past, and find the strength to conquer special kinds of demons: her own.
