It all started when I was in 4th grade when Melody Harris started going to my school, she was in 3rd grade. When I first saw her we instantly became friends. We were inseparable for a while. Then we started getting older and I started liking her. She’s never liked me though. Like in 6th grade she liked this one dude named Brandon. He was a total jerk but she didn’t care. Then in 7th grade she started liking my friend Mason. By 8th grade Melody and Mason started “going out” and I barely hung out with either one of them that year. Mason always knew that I liked Melody but he didn’t care. In 9th grade Mason was barely my friend anymore but Melody and I were becoming close friends again. Finally this year, I’m hoping things will change.
