And like every battle, it's not a pretty one. As the teens race to safety they find themselves running out of time in a world where the number one rule is: just don't get bit.

I'd say enjoy this version while it's still posted... but honestly, it's rather rocky as I sort of jumped into the book without a plan, clear plot, or anything.
