It started in the year 2022, a new device and game that would change everything. It was after my 12th birthday, I heard that there was a game called Sword Art Online in a shorter term, SAO. It was a Virtual Reality game, an VRMMORPG. To play a game is fun but to feel like you're in one is better. I felt that there was a force calling me to get that game but I couldn't, I didn't have the device for that nor the game. But, unfortunately, I received the game, and the device. Who knew that I would get sucked into a world of adventure and horror, and who knew that I would be stuck there? Little did I know that I had a big adventure ahead of me. But what if I had a saviour? A person who would stick by my side through good and bad, but what if I didn't have one? Little did I know, indeed. (I DO NOT OWN SAO OR THE CHARACTERS! AND COPYRIGHT!)

You know, from what I've look for, there's not a lot of SAO:IF stories on here. So I'm gonna make one. Now, what if the MC wasn't the only Integral Factor? What if there were others? And those others, just so happened to be friends? The Sword Art Online incident of 2022 shook the world. For the first time, someone had successfully weaponised video games, and virtual reality. World leaders in the fields, and just world leaders scrambled to find a solution... None of which was of any comfort to the 10,000 people already in the game. Especially not the ''bloody fool of an Englishman'' who'd gone into the game for escapism from his new life in Japan. So, what happens when said ''bloody fool'' decides to fight his way through the death game? Let's find out, shall we! Some of this will be based off Integral Factor, whilst the rest will likely be original or have bits from the Gameverse.

The Oni's Story
In that castle floating high in the sky, ten thousand people got locked inside. Their only way forward was to beat the final boss, or die trying. Two whole years were spent there, stuck in that castle. Each and every one of those who survived have their own story to tell. This is one such story, about a battle-fanatic who earned the moniker of 'the Blood Red Oni'. We might stick close to the original story, or we might veer greatly off-course. Only the Gods will know, for I surely don't. Title is also still very much a Work in Progress, this was just the first thing I could think of. Honestly this has just been a thing that's been brewing deep in my mind for months now (if not years), so instead of just daydreaming about random scenes and story bits I decided to actually 'put it to paper' in some form. Updates might be scarce, or they might be fast. Entirely dependant on my inspiration and my time.
