In JOS I set the rogue and con-artist Harric against a foil of warriors in a land threatened by magic and civil war. Whenever possible I turn familiar tropes on their heads: instead of a handsome young Lancelot, I cast a broken-down ex-champion addicted to pain-killing herbs; instead of a dashing Squire Brian, the old knight reluctantly takes an ambitious young woman as squire. Similarly, I re-imagine the standard medieval milieu by infusing aspects of two of my favorite historical periods, Elizabethan England, and The American Frontier. Both eras boast a kind of nationalistic arrogance that borders on hubris, and a magnificent spirit of resourcefulness and re-invention that is fun to play with. SERIES The Jack of Souls is first in a series. I am posting parts of the sequel here now (The Knave of Souls), to help me refine the story.

I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late. My music cut out causing me to hear a whistle. I stop in my tracks and pull my headphones down to my neck. Turning around, I seen a group of men with one guy who just smirked at me. "You new here beautiful?" one of the guys asked. "What do you think Einstein?" cocking my brow. "Ohh. Challenging? I like." he says walking towards me, about two inches away. "Really?" biting my lip, as he continued walking towards me. He reaches out and grabs my hip, "Mmhmm," smiling down at me. Swiftly, I grab his hand, turn him around, kick him right above the back of his knee, and pushes down so he's on his knees in front of me in a position of which I could brake his arm, "What a shame, 'cause personally, I don't like fuck boys with various STD'S." I look at all the men in the group who had their jaws dropped, all except for one, "Touch me one more time, and I'll brake your arm in two." I stand and kick his back so he falls on the concert. "Anyone else?" they stare at me blankly. "Didn't think so." When fuck boy tries to get up, I take my foot and slam him back down. Looking back at the boys, I say, "Later boys." Then, I turn and leave. ~~~~ Truce Mane is a girl who recently moved to New York with her youngest niece and nephew along with her uncle Mike. Truce went through many things as a child. She still went through them. Her mother blamed her for everything. She would get into Street fights. As in, she would fight in a dark alley with whoever she could. Sounds bad, huh? Wrong. *** Dante Kings is the most feared gang leader across the world. While he does have his fuck and Chuck's, he's been looking for his princess. He vowed that when he found her, she'd be his and he would treat her like a queen. When the spit fire moves to town and believes he's finally found her. Has he?

#13 in kotlc She only smiled up at him wading out deeper into the water. "I'm gonna go deeper than you," she teased. "In the water, or in our relationship?" He flirted back, taking after her. Sophie didn't think before she spoke. "Maybe both," she blurted, feeling her cheeks grow hot. Covering up her embarrassment although he could feel it anyway, she went deeper, only her toe tips touching the sand. [This book is PG-13 tho, I promise] --------------------------------------------- Matchmaker scrolls arrive just in time, and Sophie has the most difficult decision to make. Keefe and Fitz are two of her favorite guys around. Whatever she chooses, she is going to hurt at least one of them. ----------------------------------------------- Almost all of the characters belong to Shannon Messenger's Keeper of the Lost Cities series. Please don't plagiarize. I have to say that this does include more Sokeefe than Sophitz. "Let's face it, Galahad, your little experiment failed." "Guinevere." Galahad continued, ignoring Arthur's remark. "She has a younger sister, and I believe if they share the same blood, than perhaps she might be the best candidate to step into her sister's shoes." There was silence while Arthur considered his options, then he finally said, "Alright. Let's see how well this experiment goes, compared to your previous one." __________________________________________________________________ (Y/N) is nothing like her sister, the Kingsman "Guinevere", or her father, a deceased soldier who fought with Harry Hart in their prime. She doesn't do 'teamwork', and she couldn't give a shit about saving the world even if it hit her in the face. She stopped trying to be like her sister years ago. She's what everyone, including herself, would call a delinquent now; an outcast of what is left of her broken family. But when the only person she had left dies attempting a rescue mission in Argentina, she might just have to change the way she sees herself. Perhaps with a little help from a frustratingly likable street kid with an odd name. ___________________________________________________________________ Reader meet Eggsy. Delinquent meet snob-spy world. Nasty, wanna-claw-my-eyes-out writing, characters, and plot, meet Fanfiction. What could possibly go wrong? I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS, OR PLOT, OR WORLD OF KINGSMAN, excluding the MC's personality, story arc and/or background. This is simply for entertainment and writing practice honestly.

" I lunge forward at him hitting his groin with my knee then right between the eyes. As soon as I do, he crashes to the ground, out cold. I go for more, but a pair of arms snatch my waist lifting me up. I kick my legs and flail my arms to get closer but he is too strong. "Let go of me!" I demand. "Shut up." A low strong voice commands."Is he okay?" "He is fine." I grunt. Then the young adult wakes up, then scurries back away from me. "Sorry ma'- miss... " he says, making me angry again. I give him a cold stare. "I'm sorry." He repeats, standing to his feet. "Put. Me. Down." I demand again. With a huff he puts me down. I step forward with full intentions to punch him again but the man behind me takes my arm, holding me back. I jerk forward to get off his grip but he takes my other arm tightly. "Alright! I'm done! I'm done!" I huff in defeat. " This story follows Astrid, a 26 year old female who ran away from home 10 years ago. The only reason she has come back was to get away from the hole she dug her self into. She is running away from her problems again. If you want her safe, you'll be at the ring in an hour." Since Astrid's leave, the town suddenly had a motorcycle gang that hangs around, not realling doing anything in particular, but the sherif doesn't trust them much.
