Carter wants to be a normal girl. She isn't normal at all. Carter is half vampire and half human. She's the princess of her coven of vampires. Everyone thinks she's dead. She's not. She was taken in by her father's most trust friends. Carter grew up knowing who she was and what she is.
Now being almost an adult, she wants more than anything to know more about who her mother was. She wishes to leave her vampire adopted family. Yet her heart is torn between wanting to know her mother and taking over the coven. As Carter plans to move in with her uncle, Jagger (the new coven's leaders' nephew) wants her and wants him as well. What will happen to Cater when she tried to learn about her mother and her past catches up to her.
