Sixteen years old Ami Urahara has grown up in a state home as an unloved orphan for as long as she could remember. She's always wanted the perfect, normal, loving family that every child wants- the kind that all of her friends were happily raised in. One day, she meets and falls in love with beautiful, frail, Ren Kagawa; a gentle and reserved twenty one years old man who gives  Ami the love that she's always dreamed of. Ami and Ren's growing relationship seems to be cut short, however, when Ami is unexpectedly adopted by a strict, cold woman by the name of Lori and she has to move far away from the orphanage... Right into the Kagawa residence as Ren and Lori's daughter!
