Hazelwood

Seventeen-year-old Roma Hazelwood's struggling a year later with the loss of her seven-year-old sister Brie. While juggling her mental health she's fighting to stay afloat by an overwhelming guilt that she should have done more to protect her sister from the events leading up to Brie's death.

Roma's shocked when she finds Brie alive and zombified, standing over their mother's mauled corpse. Regretting the decisions she made a year ago to bury Brie miles away instead of bringing their abusive mother to justice, Roma takes Brie's grim reawakening as a second chance to do right by her. While evading the law Roma struggles to clean the bloody trail Brie leaves behind.

Lead to an island inhabited by Faeries, both alive and dead, Roma faces the growing realization that Brie has more in common with the faeries that are stalking her. If Roma can't manage to contain Brie's malicious, insatiable appetite for human hearts, Brie will lose herself not only to the island, but to the monster hiding behind her innocent eyes. Without Brie around, Roma may cave to finally end her life.
