What if Richard Grayson never got adopted by Bruce and instead was taken in by Slade Wilson(Deathstroke) but Dick had no idea his guardian was a villain, but in Dicks mind, he looked at everyone as a villain. Slade was very abusive to Dick, making him an obedient "dog." What happens when Batman and the young justice take down Slade for illegal smuggling and he gets away, but they find a bruised and muzzled child in a cage in the process? Will they save him? Will Dick ever find love or will he stay the broken child he is? How will the team act having this child a part of their team? How will Batman act? Will they help the broken child or try to avoid him? Dick just needs to be free of the torment his past gave him, and the only way to do that, is by healing. When he was young he was the ward of Bruce Wayne and talk of the tabloids. As a member of Young Justice, in a mission gone wrong he almost lost his best friend to none other than Deathstroke the Terminator. Grief and guilt swallowed him whole, and that's when it all went wrong. He went after the mercenary, and was killed by a quick slash across his neck. However, his death wasn't the end, because that would be too easy. Dick Grayson--brought back by the Lazarus Pit--whose now dead to the world is useful to the mercenary as his student, successor, and pawn. After years of being a toy to the contract killer Dick escaped and ran from himself and everything he's ever known. He now goes by Grayson Lloyd, but mostly referred to as Gray. He took his mothers maiden name, and returned to Gotham, but not as a hero, as something the city would come to dispute about. Vigilante. Killer. Hero. Murderer. Mercenary. He's everything in between: the gray area if you will. To the crude city he's known as 'The Gotham Reaper'. The Batfamily of course have something to say about this new vigilante. This is Batman's city after all.

They searched for him for three years before they gave up on their search, accepting his death. In those three years, Death stroke had broken Robin. When Robin failed a mission... well let's just say he has a temper when it comes to failure. Robin finally escapes the torture of the experiments and uses his new found power to guide his way through to the mountain. Because of the constant serum input, he is blind. Finally reunited with his old team, the team finds how secretive and broken Robin looks now and what will happen if his old master wants him back? How far will Deathstroke go to get him back? Also can the team bring Dick back from his lowest point in life? Will they be able to fix him after the mental and emotional abuse from Deathstroke, or will he be broken and lost forever?
