Natsu, Lucy and Happy have been friends for so long. They've gone on so many adventures together. But when Natsu receives a dangerous quest, he decides to leave Lucy behind so she doesn't get hurt. He and Happy leave for months, and each day is like an eternity without them, or at least it only seems that way to Lucy. While they are gone, Lucy realizes how she actually feels about Natsu. 
When they return, Natsu and Happy aren't the same anymore. They act different and something about them isn't right. Will this affect Lucy's feelings? What happened on their quest? Maybe 1000 miles is too far for them? Or maybe a few months was just too long?
