When I was a kid...my mom would tell me stories from thousands of years ago.
Stories about a robot named Rock, and the adventures he would go on to defeat the evil Dr. Wily.

She told me that Rock used to help his dad/creator, Dr. Light, in a labrotory, before Rock became a combat robot named Megaman.

Eventually Dr. Wily grew silent, and the world was safe, so Dr. Light upgraded Megaman.

But before Rock could awaken...Dr. Light passed on...

A century later, Megaman X was found by Dr. Cain.

Dr. Cain built robots in his design, robots called "Reploids".

But some Reploids turned, and became Mavericks.

Megaman X, alongside another Reploid named Zero, stopped the Mavericks countless times.

A century later, Zero's offlined body was found in a hidden lab.
Ciel ressurected Zero, and Zero helped take down Neo Arcadia, and its tyrant ruler Copy X. The spirit of the original X guided Zero along the way.

But..both are gone
