With slavery at it's peek, all seems lost for young Akilah and the rest of the Taken aboard a slavers ship. Once she reaches the shore however, her entire world is changed in a way she never saw coming. Her new master is Bennett Daniels, he's mysterious, he's dangerous and he has a plan to destroy the Confederacy from the inside. All it's gonna take... Is everything...

My older sister, Bella, and I had to move from Phoenix to a small town in Washington called Forks. It was a pretty big change for me but even bigger for Bella. Everything was going pretty well, until Charlie makes me go with Bella to the Cullen's, for her birthday, and Jasper tries to kill her. Since then I know everything about them.
