"This was never about either of us. This is about my home. If you can't understand, then keep your mouth shut." Nicole always hoped for an adventure. A life outside of her suburban town in Costa Rica. Liam, meanwhile, living a world established on magic, only ever wanted a truthful and fulfilling life. Both lived separated by reality. Nobody would have expected them to meet. However, when the possibility of war after centuries of peace threatened Liam's country, the two unsuspecting strangers were forced to work together in order to locate their only hope to end the battle before it ever starts. Their biggest problem would be if they could work together well enough to accomplish their goal.

I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect.
