Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. So I suck at descriptions but here we go: My name is Lola Jansen and I'm your typical 17 year old girl. I love to read, paint and mostly keeps to myself. I go to the Gifted High School because like most I am special. Here in The Mystic realm there are four kinds of people, elementalists, psychs, e-psychs and gypsies. If I let the greater evil get me our world is over but I must find my strength and courage to over come all the trials I face. A blank doll with acting and action running in her veins, Freia woke up in a hospital with no memory of what brought her there. Sure, the doctors said a car crash delivered her there, but it didn't feel like it. They said her family's dead but how come Freia didn't feel like that was true? Her very first visitors were her adoptive parents, Fabio and Darlene Hunter. She had four friends that stuck with her ever since she could remember, literally. That is until one who was dear to her was killed, in front of her. Of course, she was devastated. Why would that be a question? One day, Fabio decided to put her into his school filled with students that he specifically chose to be in. When she was finally forced to be in it, she found out things she thought that only existed in books. Powers unknown to the modern world, sheltered children who only knows the world through TV and non-interactive computers. All of the information comes in that school, but never comes out. I gotta say, why would you believe something that was written and altered by humans from outside? Would you even put your trust on the person who doesn't let you out unless he wants you to? But it was kinda obvious that they liked each other. El told me about a girl that is strong but I don't know if she's talking about me. Now we are all just happy and all together. Like a family.
