After receiving a letter from his father informing him that he must stay at Hogwarts for the Christmas Holidays, Scorpius finds that he has only Rose Weasley for company. When it is discovered that his reason for having to stay is that there have been attacks on the wizarding world by dark wizards, Scorpius must find a way to survive this terrible outbreak of crime.
