In the bustling city of new york, settling in for Hamna and her family was a big task. Still struggling from her past, the 18-year-old Hamna wasn't ready to start a whole new chapter in another city. But as time went by, she found herself settling in and so did her older sister, Hafsa. But when it felt better and everything started falling in place, fates and problems were still following her everywhere. And even if things felt better in the moment, it all collapsed in the other.
Hamna is your average teenage girl - fan of movies, shopping and books. But as much as she tries to stay away from all sorts of trouble, life somehow still manages to push her in the ground. She struggles, she cries and whines - but in the end always finds a way to get things right. And moving to new york, held a handful of challenges for her to face.
Hamna will have to face it all. Love, Hate, her parents' overly-strict behavior and her murky past that seemed to come back to the present. How will she handle the situation when people start talking about her past and start throwing harsh words at her? How will she remain steadfast on her deen - the place she really belongs in? What happens when her own family starts doubting her? How will she maintain her reputation, her modesty and her peaceful life that seemed to be collapsing at the moment? How will she prove her innocence? And most of all - How will she have everyone thinking that she is in fact Pure At Heart?
