Scarlet Stone moves to California with her Mom in hopes of building a new life for themselves from the haunting ashes of their abusive past. Sick and tired of always hiding behind a mask and pretending to be the perfect child in fear of an angry wrath, she blossoms and grows into a new Scarlet; this new Scarlet isn't scared of breaking rules or standing out.

In a sick sort of way, she loved it-reminiscing about Leo, literally drowning in the memories of him.
