A deeper take on the Iron Bull romance, with 10x more fluff, a little more angst and overall buildup and feelings.

What Comes After (Dragon Age: The Veilguard Solas x Lavellan)
The world has done Solas a disservice, demanding so much from one man who has given up everything of himself to save a world that still demands and takes, and takes and takes and takes until he is left with nothing in the end but a shell of himself and a life full of regrets. "Why?" And yet, he still questions what Ellana Lavellan so freely gives. A (slightly) slower burn version of the Solavellan reunion at the end of Veilguard. A/N: My headcanon is that Lavellan knows (somewhat, the gist of it anyway) about his memories and the things he's done. It feels too much like a bait-and-switch to me if he only reveals it all after she's joined him in the Fade prison, and that she's been misled and lied to. That doesn't sit quite right with me for a happy Solavellan ending especially since she's basically pledged her entire life to him (of course, if it's a dysfunctional Solavellan ending then that works well!)Complete
Dragon Age: The Surviver
Following a lot of the Dragon Age game series storyline by Bioware but with a twist... A young Dalish girl's clan is slaughtered by Tevinter mages but they take the girl as a slave and burns Lyrium into her skin. (Yes, like a certain angsty porcupine we know.) Before the girl is taken to Tevinter she over powers the mages with her new abilities and is found by a group of Templars. Not knowing what to do with the girl they take her back to the Ferelden Circle of Magi where she later on meets the Grey Warden... She's bi so she'll blush at anyone who flirts with her, like most of Dragon Age characters. Her romance won't happen until Veilguard. I originally started writing this to help get Dragon Age out of my system but it's starting to make my love for it grow stronger and I wish to share it with others. I'm open to any lore corrections. I unfortunately don't have any of the books so some of the lore may be lost to me but I'll try my best with the knowledge I've gained from the games, series and movie. I hope you dear readers enjoy it and let's keep this a positive and save space to share our passions. NO BOTS!

Brittle Eyes, Brittle Dreams
Mistress Lavellan returns to Skyhold after a tough mission in a state of shock. She is straining under crippling self-doubt and a colorful past. Despite Solas' efforts to comfort her, she is profoundly haunted by her past. Unable to suppress the truth any longer, she makes several weighty confessions - including her true status within her clan and the fact that she is a blood mage, though an unwitting and reluctant one. After showing her some revelations in a Fade memory, Solas attempts to confront her with the truth in a way meant to bring comfort.
