There is no prophecy. There is no tell-tale legend. There is no scripture written down in a book or a hidden cave. There is only the spoken word of the Gods. Dare not go against them, for life's very existence would be jeopardized. And the Gods never make mistakes. So why is everyone questioning their choices when it comes to a female?
Men with a courageous nature and determined mindsets have made their legacy and are talked about in stories; even after death, they live on. The Gods never make mistakes; however, people believe the Gods have made just that when a girl is chosen to fight in a man's war. For, there has never, in the history that has been written in books and along the walls of undiscovered caves, been a female dragon rider.

World War Dragon!
The Story is set in England in 1917... Twelve year old Marion Blount who has never found it easy to make friends. She has a sharp tongue and quick temper but these are just Marion's well learned defences against the goading and taunts she gets at school. Marion can make a horse leap a high fence and climb the tallest of trees but in 1917 these are not the accomplishments a young lady should be proud of as her peers and her mother continually remind her. On the World War 1 battlefields of France and Belgium it is not just soldiers dying. The Armageddon of a world war is unknowingly wiping out huge numbers of dragons that have lived secretly below ground for thousands of years. As a result England is being flooded with dragons fleeing the battlefield carnage. But with the dragon refugees comes talk of dragons returning to the Above, making war on humans and taking back their lands. A new dragon uprising is coming...Concluida

They called it the perfect match. Highborn. A Golden. The kind of man girls are supposed to dream of. "What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath.
